Methods for calculating temperature fields in flat and cylindrical glassware are considered. The advantages of numerical methods for calculating temperature fields in comparison with analytical methods for complex shapes of products and the conditions of the heat transfer processes occurring in this are shown. Bibliography: 9 titles.
Based on the adaptation of the theoretical Thurnball - Cohen equation, the temperature-concentration dependence of the linear crystal growth rate (LSRC) of diopside for potassium-containing glasses of the CaO - MgO (Al 2 O 3 ) - SiO system was revealed 2 and the dependence of LSRC of devitrite and cristobalite on the chemical composition of glasses located in the corresponding regions on the phase diagram of the Na 2 O - CaO - SiO 2 system was established ... Tab. 4, ill. 2, bibliography: 6 titles.
It is shown that the use of the algorithms of Fridkin and Gardon - Narayanaswami makes it possible to describe with sufficient accuracy the modes of glass hardening and gives a basis for the transition to calculations of nonlinear modes of its heat treatment, which will allow predicting new consumer properties of sheet glass. Il. 3, bibliography: 6 titles.
The synthesis of the components of the glass-forming mixture in an aqueous medium has been carried out. To control the ongoing processes, the method of pH-metry was used. Based on a comparative analysis of the pH curves, the predicted phase composition of the synthesis products was determined, which was confirmed by X-ray and IR spectral analysis methods. Tab. 2, ill. 2, bibliography: 11 titles.
The character of phase transformations in glass mixtures at all stages of their preparation, including moistening, compaction and drying, has been studied, and criteria for evaluating the formability of glass mixtures have been proposed. The interrelation of the main technological parameters of the granulation process (moisture, duration of granulation and mechanical strength of granules) with the proposed criteria is established and the possibility of their use for choosing a method of compaction of charges and the conditions for its implementation is shown. Tab. 1, ill. 3, bibliography: 7 titles.
The results of comparative tests of multilayer glasses during firing from a Makarov pistol are presented. It is shown that the use of sheet glass, subjected to a special heat treatment, for the assembly of multilayer products makes it possible to reduce their weight, reduce energy costs and improve light transmission. Tab. 2, ill. 2, bibliography: 2 titles.
A new method for the production of glass with a more equilibrium thickness has been developed, the main principle of which is to create a compressive force along the axis of the tape with the help of several pairs of bead-holding machines. The use of this method makes it possible to produce thickened glass of a sufficiently high quality with a width of 1700 - 1800 mm, to reduce losses by reducing the duration of technological transitions from one thickness to another, to avoid a decrease in the productivity of installations when producing glass of thick denominations. Il. 3, bibliography: 3 titles.
The change in the redox potential of molten glass in the production technology of photochromic glasses with partial and complete replacement of soda ash and alumina with natural aluminosilicate materials is considered. Tab. 3, ill. 1, bibliography: 5 titles.
The intensity of the stimulating effect of Cr, Mn and Fe oxides on the processes of pyroxene formation of glass ceramics has been established. The possibility of synthesizing sitalls based on compositions containing less than 50% SiO 2 has been confirmed. Il. 3, bibliography: 3 titles.
The essence is considered and the results of a three-stage impulse tempering of sheet glass with an adhesive polymer film are presented. Il. 3, bibliography: 5 titles.
