The possibility of using copper-nickel ore dressing wastes as a component of ceramic masses for the production of ceramic tiles has been investigated. The optimal content of waste in ceramic masses and firing conditions have been determined. The physical and mechanical characteristics of the materials obtained have been studied. It has been established that the wastes of the concentration of copper-nickel ores can be used in the compositions of ceramic masses to obtain facing tiles with satisfactory properties: water absorption - 12.7 - 13.3%, bending strength - 10.0 - 12.9 MPa, frost resistance - more than 25 cycles. The possibility of using granite screenings (granitoids) of the Mikashevichskoye deposit of the Republic of Belarus for obtaining porous heat-insulating materials has been investigated. The original glasses were synthesized using from 50 to 70% (by weight) granitoids and additional introduction of quartz sand, chalk and soda. The range of compositions with the required viscosity at foaming temperatures of 800 and 830 ° C has been determined. On the basis of these compositions, foam glass was obtained having a bulk density of 180 - 190 kg / m
3 , a compressive strength of 0.72 - 0.78 MPa and a thermal conductivity of 0.091 W / (m & # 903; K). The possibility of obtaining foam glass with the introduction of up to 60% of cheap natural raw materials into the composition of the charge has been proved. Tab. 1, ill. 3, bibliography: 10 titles.

The results of a study of the possibility of using a technogenic raw material - a catalyst - in the production of building ceramics are presented. The physicochemical properties and structural parameters of ceramic samples have been determined. When introducing a catalyst into the molding mass, the firing temperature of the samples should be increased, and its amount should not exceed 7-10%. Tab. 3, ill. 2, bibliography: 5 titles.

The possibility of using feldspar raw materials of the Chupinsky GOK in the compositions of masses at factories producing ceramic facing tiles has been studied. The influence of this raw material on the shrinkage, water absorption and strength of products based on Cambrian clay from the Chekalovskoye deposit was studied, and their properties were compared with samples from the mass used by the Nikolsky Ceramic Plant. The use of quartz-feldspar waste dedusting allows you to exclude lime from the mass and reduce the amount of quartz sand requiring grinding. Tab. 2, ill. 1.
